The service hours of Changsha's entire metro network will be extended to 24:00 on September 14, the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, aiming to facilitate the travel of passengers. In particular, the Hongqiao-Xiangtan North Station section of Changsha Metro Line 3 will operate until 23:00 on that day.

To cope with a travel rush during the holiday, Changsha Metro Group will add more staff at gate machines and escalators to provide guidance and consulting services for passengers at Changsha South Railway Station, Changsha Railway Station, Juzizhou and Wuyi Square stations.

Based on passenger flow data, Wuyi Square Station has taken measures including upgrading gate machines to expand its non-payment area ahead of the holiday. The move aims to provide more space and convenience for passengers before entry. Recently Wangjiali Square Station has displayed an eye-catching sign reading "Meeting Point" in the station hall to help passengers to quickly locate their friends and family members. Juzizhou and Yingwanzhen stations provide raincoats for passengers if needed. All metro stations are equipped with service boxes and first-aid kits.

All metro stations will continue to provide escort services. Passengers with limited mobility can make an appointment for the service in advance by calling the service hotline at 0731—86850000 or through the "Changsha Metro" app. There are more assistance facilities at the stations such as wheelchair ramps and green channels.
