According to expert measurements taken on September 18, the indica-japonica hybrid rice "Yong You 1538" achieved an average yield of 1,100.4 kg per mu (about 667 square meters) at an experimental demonstration field in the super hybrid rice high-yield research base, located in Leifeng Village, Yanggu'ao Town, Longhui County.
