The 2024 Conference on Gastronomy and Tourism Development was held in Hengyang City on September 21.
The 2024 China Food Tourism Development Report, 2024 Hunan Gastronomy and Tourism Development Report, Hengyang gastronomy and Tourism Phenomenon, and the lists of 2024 Gastronomy and Tourism Integration Development Cases and 2024 Gastronomy and Tourism Innovation Development Cases were released at the conference. Representatives on the list shared their experiences, setting a model for the development of gastronomy and tourism in the cultural and tourism industry.
The present guests had in-depth exchanges around the theme of “integration, innovation, and high-quality development”. They jointly explored the practical experience, development trends, and innovative strategies of China’s gastronomy and tourism development to provide intellectual support for the development direction of food tourism.
Meanwhile, they also participated in other experiential activities such as the Hengyang food route, the themed cultural tasting banquet, and the “Hengyang Taste” chef series of activities. Among them, the “Hengyang Taste” chef series of activities showcased the profound cultural heritage and unique charm of Hengyang gastronomy and tourism through various forms like the display of famous Hengyang restaurants and chefs, and the promotion of Hengyang stir-fry dishes.
