China (Changsha) ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Headquarters Base Project Launched

The China (Changsha) ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Headquarters Base Project was launched at the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area Yuhua Block on September 20. As a comprehensive platform integrating trade, investment, logistics, information and cultural exchanges, the base will provide more convenient and efficient services for economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and the ASEAN countries.

"This is Hunan's first ASEAN economic and trade cooperation headquarters base. Eleven enterprises are now located at the base, which is next to the Yuhua block, and these settled enterprises can benefit from pilot free trade zone policies," said Song Zhengshi, secretary-general of the General Chamber of Commerce for Economic and Trade Cooperation with ASEAN. He added that the base has 10 service centers offering support in legal affairs, finance, and taxation, and the base provides more than 400 personnel apartments.At the event, the China (Changsha) ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Service Center signed a memorandum of cooperation with the China International Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and also with the General Chamber of Commerce for Economic and Trade Cooperation with ASEAN. They further clarified the direction and focus of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture, and education.
