The 6th China Grain Trade Conference was held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province between October 18 and 20, 2024. The 1,000-sqm Hunan booth mainly promoted such provincial public brands as "Dongting fragrant rice", "Hunan canola oil", "Hunan rice noodles", and "Hunan miscellaneous grain"; highlighted the Nanxian County crawfish-rice, Ziquejie tribute rice, Changde fragrant rice, and other regional characteristic brands; and, focused on displaying and selling "famous, special, excellent, and new" grain and oil products. The Jinjian Cereals Industry Co., Ltd., Hunan Changkang Industrial Co., Ltd., Daodaoquan Grain and Oil Co., Ltd., Shengping Rice, Jiaoshan Rice, and Liuyanghe Group introduced their own boutique products at the exhibition, attracting numerous visitors.

During the exhibition, the Food and Strategic Reserves Department of Hunan Province organized a special promotion meeting for "Good Hunan grain and oil". Xia Wenbin, director of the department, introduced Hunan grain and oil industrial development achievements in terms of industrial foundation, varieties and quality, and brands and reputation, assisting the "Good Hunan grain and oil" in entering a broader global market.

The theme of this year's conference is "Grain Security Gathering Strengths, Production and Sales Integration for Development". The food and strategic reserves authorities of Hunan, Jiangxi, and Guangdong provinces formally signed an MOU, to give full play to their respective resource advantages, and to continuously enhance the cross-regional food supply collaborative guarantee capacity. They promised to make joint efforts to strengthen food production and sales collaboration, ensure the food supply of the Chinese people, and safeguard food security.
