雙語視界（15）丨古代荷包上的小小花紋，最后竟成了中國的四大名繡？

Hunan embroidery, one of China's Four Famous Embroideries, has journeyed over two millennia from its humble origins as decorative patterns on rural women's clothing and pouches to its current status as a Representative Item of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Through centuries of evolution, countless embroiderers and Chinese painting artists have dedicated themselves to refining its techniques and blending diverse artistic essences from Suzhou embroidery, Guangdong embroidery, calligraphy, ink-wash painting and others, who finally developed Hunan embroidery’s unique technique: “Use needles as brushes and threads as paints.” It achieves artistic reinvention while faithfully recreating original paintings. Celebrated for “its exquisite works like vibrant flowers seemingly scented with aroma and vivid birds supposedly singing”, Hunan embroidery marks an indelible chapter in China's traditional artistic legacy.

湘繡，作為中國四大名繡之一，從古代農(nóng)村婦女衣服、荷包上的花紋，到如今聞名海內(nèi)外的非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表性項目，這一路，它走了兩千多年。一路走來，歷經(jīng)無數(shù)刺繡藝人的探索和國畫畫家的潛心投入，吸收了蘇繡、粵繡乃至?xí)?、水墨中的多種藝術(shù)精華，最終形成了“以針代筆，以線暈色”的獨特技巧，在刻意追求畫稿原貌的基礎(chǔ)上，進行藝術(shù)再創(chuàng)造，有著“繡花生香，繡鳥聞聲”的美名。是勤勞智慧的湖南人民在中國傳統(tǒng)藝術(shù)寶庫中留下的濃墨重彩的一筆。
