Changsha Designated as Host City of National Cultural and Natural Heritage Day

China's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day will be marked on June 14 this year.

The National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA) and the Hunan Provincial People's Government will jointly host the main host city event in Changsha, announced by NCHA on March 24.

This year's theme is "Rejuvenate Cultural Heritage with Fresh Vitality and New Luster."

A variety of online and offline cultural heritage exhibitions, guided tours, academic symposiums, and publicity events will be held nationwide around the day. Cultural venues and museums will open to the public for free, extend their opening hours, organize free guided tours and trainings, offer immersive interactive experiences, and provide free cultural relics authentication and other services for the community's benefit.
